Hey Guys,
I've got a hands on tutorial for you today. One of the most misunderstood areas of racecar vehicle dynamics and racecar engineering is how do you measure up a racecar. It's one of these questions that is either over looked or shrouded in mystery. Anyway the following will light the way,

Hey Guys,
I realise we are at the tail end of August and September but I thought I'd give you all a quick reminder about the ChassisSim bootcamps in November/December,
http://www.chassissim.com/blog/chass...bootcamps-2017
If you want to learn how to apply racecar simulation so you can get results it's a must attend event and the student rate is discounted.
I look forward to seeing you there.

Hey Guys,
A very quick tutorial for you today,
http://www.chassissim.com/blog/chass...s-ride-heights
It's about using ChassisSim to determine ride heights. I realise that for some of you this is very obvious stuff and my apologies in advance.
However what tends to happen in racing is we get so caught up in what we are doing we can some times forget how useful vehicle dynamics tools can be. Anyway consider it food for thought.

Hey Guys,
Just taking the temperature on this forum and a few questions I've had come my way a big question mark is what should you do with regards to damping. This is an oldie but a goodie,

Hey Guys,
First things first sorry I've been a bit quiet. We've got a lot of exciting things happening with ChassisSim and I've been crazy busy.
Anyway I have a treat for you today. Yesterday I presented a webinar about how to take the lessons learned from using ChassisSim in Formula E and apply it to road cars. You'll find the recording below,
http://www.chassissim.com/blog/chass...-for-road-cars
I had a lot of fun putting it together and I'm sure you'll get a lot out of it.

Hey Guys,
Just a reminder about the ChassisSim bootcamps,
http://www.chassissim.com/blog/chass...re-on-for-2018
A quick word about how things are travelling. The German bootcamp is filling up. I still have slots available but it you want to go I wouldn't dilly dally. The bootcamp in Indianapolis on Dec 4-5 has more slots available but I expect them to start filling up as well. All the registration links are in the link above.
Anyway I figured you would all want to know.

Hey Guys,
My apologies for the lack of posting - we at ChassisSim have been absolutely flat out. I just thought I'd give everyone the heads up that due to popular request, the hard copy of my book - The Dynamics of the Race Car is available for purchase. You can find the details here,
https://www.chassissim.com/the-dynam...ook-available/
Over the years it has been found that this book is a very good compliment to Race Car Vehicle Dynamics and Jorge Seger's book - "Analysis Techniques for Racecar data acquisition" . BTW Jorge's book for me is the definitive reference for racecar data acquisition.
Enjoy.
