What are teams using currently for wheelbase to track ratio. Ours is about 1.3:1 (wheel/track). Found our car to be too stable in 04 event. Is this smaller than most cars going around?

Does anyone know the theoretically suggested optimum ratio if one exists?

In racing car the wheelbase-Track Ratio should be between 1 to 1.6
In FSae WB 60-72" and TW 44-52"
so play around those values:
- for Weight transfer (WB "acceleration and braking") and (TW "lateral WT")
- also TW is used in the steering design and suspension travel.

1.3 sounds good we are using 1.4
