Hello!

I'd like to do some analysis on our electrical system. I know two softwares: simplorer and multisim. Does anyone know if these softwares are apropriated to do this or shall i try another one?

thanks

This is getting so ridiculous.

Programs like Multisim are useless for testing if you cables are made right. It will not take into account inpedance, gauge, fluxuations etc. Even industry does not model its cables on software they just design them with common sense. Ie, A conencts to B and is carrying 5A so we will use a 12AWG wire.

If your doing analysis on logic or control systems then yea, you can use Multisim to test your circuits but these won't model any microconrollers which may be controlling these circuits.

Based on what's important for an FSAE electrical system, I think that a pad of paper and pencil is more appropriate.
