That could be a tough one to find, but I think it is cool that you are stepping out of the box and using a different engine.
The only way to get an engine model is if someone has used a CMM laser to model it and I doubt that has been done to a Triumph. I would recommend making a block and trying to get your engine mounts in the correct place, but I know how hard that is with a tape and calipers. Good luck with the Triumph!

Ditto on the props for being original, but the Daytona 600 was not really an amazing engine. Unless you have found a significant advantage to using it, it's probably more trouble than its worth. However, that said, Triumph is a smaller operation, and may actually welcome the request for help, especially if you offer it as an oppurtunity to market Triumph products via your success. As for making one fit, I would simply suggest finding a 'sploded one and gutting the block for mockup. Not very sophisticated, but effective.

You might want to try a few of the European teams - I think Loughborough University and Oxford Brookes have both played around with the Triumph engines. There might be some others. Get onto the FStudent website and find out who has been competing over there - and then start working your way through their websites.

Good luck,

Look up Brian Smith from Tennessee Tech. They used the triumph two years ago and had been using them for a while. Perhaps they are still using it. I don't know what year engine they had then, nor do I know now, but Brian had an AutoCAD model of it that you might be able to use.

It's worth a shot

(use the TN Tech website to find his email)

you wont be albe to find a replacement engine or parts at competition for such a rare piece....or people who have worked on them
