I was looking at the Red Bull Soapbox race website, dreaming of what I'll build when they decide to have one of the races in LA, and I noticed that Brown's FSAE team was a registered team at the Providence race. Anyone on that team have any pictures of that? That sounds like the ultimate new member project.
If only they would schedule one that coincides with everyone's rolling chassis deadline.

I don't know if any of the current team members will see this, so I'll reply.
The team used this as a freshman project to get the new members some welding/wrenching experience while the rest of the team designed. The soapbox racer was hacked together from scrap and old car parts and didn't work so well. On the flip side there were men in dresses (drag racer, get it?) One of my friends who was able to attend the event grabbed a picture:
