Guys,
Just wondering whether anyone would be willing to share info on cause of re-starting probs during driver change in the Endurance events. We had some slight probs last year which we believe were due to heat soak (fuel vaporisation, or the like).
Are there any other causes that anyone has encountered that result in re-starting problems??

Thanks

Our biggest starting problem last year is that we were running E85 and the motor took a bit of finesse to start. In fact, there were only a few of us on the team who could actually reliably start the motor ever time, which is never good. One of our endurance drivers had to emergency stop when another car spun out in front of him and was not able to restart after this happened.

Exhaust overheated the starter, in addition to the motor being over heated.
