Bulkhead Support

Hello,

We are a new Formula SAE team from Mexico, and we are designing a new frame, but we're not sure whether the Front Bulkhead Supports will face problems wth the requirements listed in rule B3.19.2 or not.

B3.19.2 says: The Front Bulkhead must be supported back to the Front Roll Hoop by a minimum of three (3) Frame Members on each side of the vehicle with one at the top (within 50.8 mm (2 inches) of its top-most surface), one (1) at the bottom, and one (1) as a diagonal brace to provide triangulation.

Do you thnk it's ok? tried to contact Rules Committee but it seems the e-mail address shown in the rules is wrong (fase@sae.org).

Your front bulkhead support looks properly supported and triangulated, but your frame around the main roll hoop is not triangulated. Specifically, the highest and second highest members of the side impact structure should attach to the main roll hoop at nodes triangulated by other tubes from the rear structure.

Thank you for the answers... yes we will change the side impact zone for trangulation, and Ive sent an e-mail to rules committee to be sure it's ok
