There seems to be quite a focus on new technologies, but I often like to remind my students of a very important quote from Carroll Smith himself:

“A brilliant design that is not finished on time is useless. A simple design that has been properly developed is a better exercise in engineering"

Isn't this an engineering educational competition? What implications will this have in the design event?
