I have a question regarding the master disconnect switch. If just use a switch like this:
http://cgi.ebay.ie/EA-460-OMP-RACING-BATTERY-CUT-OFF-SW...Z10406QQcmdZViewItem (http://cgi.ebay.ie/EA-460-OMP-RACING-BATTERY-CUT-OFF-SWITCH_W0QQitemZ330054033632QQihZ014QQcategoryZ104 06QQcmdZViewItem)

and use the switched side of it to put into the original wiring harness, could i just pull 3 hot wires off of this to control 3 relays to kill the alternator field wires? If they were wired normally open it would prevent any malfunctions...does this satisfy the rules?

you could just run the wires from the rectifier straight to the battery then you have one less thing to worry about.

We use that kill switch, you can also get it from Delcity.net

the kill switch must be direct acting, i.e. no relayed power.
