Yeah I'll be heading up the cost report, shouldn't be hard since I've kept tabs on all the things we've ordered, and we're ordering most everything these next two weeks. Shocks tomorrow, brakes today, axles/cv's next week

That's what happens when you start from nothing though, we couldn't have bullshitted the DR, we didn't have enough finalized.

You obviously did not read 4.5.6, which says:
"4.5.6 Penalty for Late Submission or Non-Submission
Teams who do not submit a Design Report and a Design Spec Sheet by the specified deadline will not compete in the design event, and will receive zero (0) points for design."

So, you just took yourself out of the Design Event and lost a bunch more points by not turning in your Design Report.

I am not going to lose sleep over this, nor is the rest of my team, we collectively dropped the ball on this one and I just have to say "oh well, shit happens" We have nine months to get a team off the ground, design a car and build a car, the latter two have taken place in the last 3 months. The cost report for West is due May 1st.

I didn't purposely take us out of the event if that's what you're insinuating, we just straight up forgot about it. It sucks and I wish it didn't happen, but this wasn't a choice.

Sorry, no insinuation intended. Just as long as you are aware of your slip before the event and it does not come as a surprise when you arrive at Cal Speedway. As a "rookie team" the fact that you have managed to build a car is a major achievement.

It will be good to see another Big Ten team at the competition.We are atill missing Iowa and Indiana.
