Does anyone know if the arm restraints are subject to SFI specs like the harness? It's not very clear in the rules

I dont even think you can buy unrated ones.
Yes they need to be sfi/fia rated.

You sure can, and we have them. Leaf racewear only sells unrated ones I guess. I just assumed they would have it given all the other stuff does

Actually, if you read the rules it does not say that the arm restraints need to be rated. The same is true for gloves and shoes.

However, Baja SAE does require that the arm restraints be rated to SFI 3.3.

the restraints actually have a warning on them saying that they are in no way fire resistant
