hello, i am looking to take a control systems course over the spring semester online and was wondering if any of your colleges offer one? The only school i have found that offers one is iowa state. By control systems i mean a basic controls class most likely 300 level and would deal with transfer functions and such----thanks---any help would be great

I'm guessing you're talking about ME 411 at ISU? I didn't realize that was offered online, although they're really expanding in that direction. As far as I recall that was still being taught by Dr. Luecke, our SAE advisor. He's very good.

From what I know about online classes at ISU is they're a bit spendy, but good. You'll be able to watch streaming lectures at any time, and I'm thinking if you watch it live you can ask questions via voice or text.

To be honest many of the courses I took on campus I had more or less the "online experience" (especially the 8 AM classes), because when you're doing FSAE and can watch the lectures any time you end up skipping class a lot. http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Not that I advocate that, but it happened...
