Hey do you guys buy your technical papers off the SAE website? Can you preview papers before you buy them?

Are there any other ways to obtain these papers?

Thanks
Austin

Our math/engineering library at university had heaps of SAE papers available on microfilm for free. Only cost however many cents per page to copy/print them.

You can use your ILL (interlibrary loan) service. Some school dont give out original copies and sometimes do a bad job of copying it for your viewing. Your best bet is always ask for the original. If they cant give you the original, ask if they have any electronic copies.

Use this service to your advantage. A lot of students dont realize of their existence or just dont care. And dont be afraid to put in several requests. ILL usually dont have a limit, but be considerate. I know instructors over here request 12 books at one time.
