How the heck should we know? It's your system.

If you really just want an answer, I can give you a firm "Yes". You will find out more details when you try to use it.

Well, what does your quick-shifter do?

There are many ways to make a gearchange quicker.

You could tell the driver to pull the lever harder. Surprisingly enough, this usually improves both the speed of the changes and the lifespan of the gearbox internals.

You could grind some of the dogs off the gears so it would be more likely to "catch" when the lever's thrown.

You could go from a twisted, binding cable to a straight rod from gearlever to J-arm.

You could interrupt the ignition on upshifts so the driver doesn't have to get off the gas pedal.

You could have a pneumatic or electric system slam the J-arm fore and aft at the touch of a button.

You could rig up a hydraulic governor to automatically change gear whenever the engine reached the redline.

It's your system. What do you want it to do?
