Who going???
We'll be there with the data acquisition loom on and a bunch of load cells trying to figure out just how much grip there is.

from previous years, learn to win has been on the car park and not the track as was the FSUK event. So im sure the grip will be different.

And how exactly are the load cells going to help you with that? Care to elaborate?

O.k. perhaps I should have been a little more specific when I used the term "grip". The reason to run the load cells at silverstone is to get a accurate measurement of the forces being transmitted via the tyre, upright and wishbone into the chassis to help in the development and optimisation of the 08 chassis.
The reason being that the silverstone has a surface really grippy and I think there's a fair chance the comp will be there on 08. (I just hope it doesn't rain)!
Last year we worked out the loads being placed onto the chassis using our data looms accelerometer and taking moments about the suspension components, but I think this is fairly inaccurate.
The big question I am thinking of at the moment is do I build a new set of wishbone for silverstone for the 07 car, or for the 08 mark1 chassis which im going to start building on sep the 3rd???
How cool would it be to get a 08 prototype up and running for silverstone learn to win!
