Largest Autocross Event

Hello All,

Is the largest single autocross event the SCCA SOLO/II ?? To my knowledge, it has approximately 1100 entrants.

Is there a single larger event held in another country or continent??

Largest in what sense? Participants? Members? Events?

The largest autocross event in the US is the SCCA National Championships in Topeka. A little digging through their results archives will give the entrant numbers.

The SCCA bills the Solo National Championship as the largest participant motorsports event in the world. I don't know by which metric they measure largest, but it probably does have the most competing drivers of any sanctioned motorsports event.

Because of the format of Solo, it is unlikely that any circuit track event could match the number of competitors. If you're looking for a possible rebuttal, look in the drag race venues for something like a NOPI event that might draw a huge crowd of drivers.....
