Shield for Final Drive Sprocket

Hi everyone,

I understand that we need to put a chain guard for a chain driven system. I have already fabricated one.But, How about the engine side? I am using Honda F4i engine and it came with a stock plastic final drive sprocket cover. Could I use that to shield my final drive sprocket as I have already have one steel chain guard at the back?

That's all we've ever done. We usually just have the chain guard go up to the back of the engine as far as possible and that's about it.
