All:

Just wanted to update some poeple who have had poor experiences with Jongbloed in the past. Currently, they are under operation of some new guys, in particular a guy by the name of Ryan. He is 10X better than dealing with their previous shop guys, as I have had experience. Prompt customer service and shipment and very easy to work with. He just replaced a set of outer shells for us that had some manufacturing errors 3 months after I received them. Don't know of too many places that would do that...

Wanted to give everyone a heads up in case you are thinking about wheels now and in the future...since they are a great wheel if you can afford the cost.

Agreed very much. We're only about half an hour away from them, and I visited them a bunch of times to make sure our upright/brake package would fit. Ryan was always a big help, and their wheels look top notch.

Hello, Jongbloed wheels are OK, we had a poor experience last year.
We ordered and paid them on november 14th, they told us that the construction would take 4 weeks, they finally send them late January, when we recieved them in Venezuela we had a big surprise: it wasn't what we ordered!, the centers were all wrong, very different of the order form we send.
After many complains and calls, the guys from that company send the right centers within about 6 weeks and we recieved them in Abril, just waiting for them to run the Fsae LUZ 2006.
They are good weight, but they started to loose the air, the reason: insufficient and bad glue in the shells.
We have just recieved this years wheels, Keizer (mag's), they are better than jongbloed in every aspect mentioned before...
Thanks Wade (Keizer)
Not thanks to Bill Baker (Jongbloed)

For the record, Bill's been out of Jongbloed for a bunch of months now.

Our experience with Jongbloed was also dissapointing. Their promised delivery dates were not true to us either.

Additionally, we received one wheel with a major casting flaw, and all the wheels with mediocre polishing in the grooves.

I guess if they were going to resolve this issue, they would have done it by now.
