Hello all, I am interested in possibly incorporating an oil cooler into our vehicle this year. I am curious as to how these things work and how they are plummed. also it would be great if anyone knows if thesrs one that would work on a new CBR600 F4RR motor.

The 600RR has a stock "oil cooler" that uses a water to oil heat exchanger... preferably using the cooler side of the water. Otherwise, unless you are running a dry sump with existing oil lines outside of the engine, you need to find someway to bypass the stock lubrication (probably at the filter interface) and send it off to the cooler, then back to complete the original cycle... fun

search for "oil sandwich adapter" at any speed shop (aka summit racing or something) and pick the one with the correct thread size and pitch for the engine.

The F4i definetly comes stock with the water to oil intercooler... I'm surprised the RR does not.

the 03-05 rr's definately comes wit a stock oil cooler (water cooled)

Setrab makes a wide variety of air-oil coolers in sizes that appear very suitible for FSAE.
