Akrapovic Mufflers

I am looking to choose an Akrapovic muffler for our vehicle, but I'm struggling to figure out which one's are compatible with our system. We tried to contact Akrapovic but they were less than helpful and would not give us the dimensions. We have a 2" tailpipe, so the inlet to the muffler must be approximately 50-52mm. Does anyone here successfully run an Akrapovic muffler that has a ~2 inch inlet? If so, which "bike" is it for and for what year(s)? Also, do you guys like the muffler, did it get the job done?

Hi,

the Akra for the Aprilia SXV/RXV fits perfect to 2" pipes.
Search on ebay or in the different Aprilia forums.

Were you able to purchase that without the entire exhaust? Or did you purchase it on ebay/forums?

Does anyone happen to know if the RSV4 is the same tail pipe diameter as the SXV/RXV?

Hi,

we purchased only the muffler. The exhaust was a SilMoto bought on ebay. I think the muffler was also from ebay.
The Aprilia Forum (www.apriliaforum.com) is a very good place for parts and all the other things...
