When we sign up can we get a receipt from the SCCA so we can be reimbursed by our school?

Hello Nihal,
We can provide you with a receipt on the day of the event.
Also, to all...
Please include
School Name
Team Captain's Name and contact info
Car #
Approximate # of team members attending
Along with your check.
Other common questions:
Practice will be limited to 20 formula cars
Yes you can bring more than one formula car (1 entry fee per car) but priority goes to 1st car entries.
Yes you can bring an older FSAE car
All cars must pass a standard Auto X safety inspection.
The Safety inspection for the practice is based on safety only, not FSAE specific criteria, so if your car is sorted and safe, you will be able to run.
Driving suits, shoes, gloves and Snell 95 or better closed face helmets are required for the formula cars.
The FSAE tech inspection crew may be there offering a full FSAE tech inspection to help you prepare for the competition.
Regards,
Ian

Sweet thanks. Will there be some mock judging like there was two years ago? The tech inspection thing is really nice to have though.

No judging is planned, just good old fashioned track time!! http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
And the full tech is a maybe, but we are planning for it...

Also, some good news!! Entry fees may be partially or fully refunded at the event and we are working on providing lunch as well.

Just to clarify. This event is not being held on the same surfaces as the competition dynamic events, correct?

Will they be hosting a practice event right before West competition like last year? That was a lot of fun and gave us a few days to hit the beach before competition started. http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Hey Ian,
The check is in the mail and should get to Dean Case in a day or so.
Would it be possible to have a decibel meter there as well?
Thanks,
Pablo

Hi Pablo,
Thanks for the note.
We have confirmation from CSUN and Pomona.
No plans for a Decibel meter, but it's a good idea.
I will look into it!!
