Just wondering who's used a bike's stock fuel injection with our required restriction?

Is it possible? Will the ECU compensate? Are piggy back's required?

It is possible. We've ran our engine on the stock ECU with it restricted, but it didn't perform as well as it should.

you can, but the fuel map will be wrong for the amount of air the restricted engine will see. the stock injectors work (we used them with our own rails) but they are generally too big for the fuel flow rates you need.

Stock injectors will work OK as they are able to meter small enough amounts of fuel to keep the engine on idle, you will lose some resolution for tuning though, as for running a stock ECU through a restrictor I'd watch for running very rich especially if it's controlled by A TPS

Hi everyone,

We have had good luck using stock injectors with Hondas, Suzukis and Yamahas with the restricted engine. I agree with Colin, however, using the stock fuel map will result in an incorrect mixture. Good luck.
