I have one question about the new rules for 2010. The rules say that for monocoque attachments points, the primary structure has to bear 30KN for any direction. The item 3.2 say that primary structure is the main hoop, front hoop, roll hoop... and the frame members but I don't understand one thing: the suspension attachment points are also frame members?

Thanks

Do you seriously think any suspension attachment point on a steel tube frame chassis withstands 30 kN in any direction?

Suspension is not part of the primary structure.
