Hey There,

The FSAE 2013 rules says :

"All spherical rod ends and spherical bearings on the steering or suspension must be in double shear or captured by having a screw/bolt head or washer with an O.D. that is larger than spherical bearing housing I.D."

Does the anti roll bar system consider to be a suspension part?

Becuase in our design the rod ends on the ARB arms are supported by single shear plane.

What do you think?

Yes. We had to add larger washers to our single shear antiroll connection last year during tech.

If "it" moves relative to the chassis and is related to wheel control or it is part of a system that creates relative movement between the chassis and the wheels, then it is suspension or steering.

Hi,

its for holding back the rod end housing in case it loosens from the ball.
