i can get left hand metric jam nuts but only in coarse thread. http://www.spaenaur.com Since the rod ends we used are fine thread, i made some up with 1/2" hex bar stock.

How do you get around the grade requirements for the mounting hardware by making them yourselves Ben?

hmm.. it's never come up. I think they're happy just to see a jam nut there.

That is just wrong! You could have at least used 12mm hex stock...I thought it was bad enough having the motor metric and the rest standard. http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Whatever, we still see "10mm" and think:

"uhhhhhhhh, ok, so like, almost a half inch...."

16th of inches and 12 inches to a foot make SO much more sense than this stupid Base 10 crap.......

I just find it hard to believe that I live in Canada, an SI country, and I can't find metric left hand thread nuts. http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
