Composite axles

What teams are using composites axles vs steel axles with CV joints? I'm interested in the the weight savings and simplicity of the entire setup. The only teams I've seen so far with such axles are UofM Ann Arbor and Delft. Is this type of configuration too pricey for most other teams? Also, for teams running composites axles, did you fabricate these yourself or did you work with a supplier to have them made? Like always, any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
