A lot of teams (>50%) finish no more than a few weeks before competition. Some teams can have a rolling and powered chassis as much as 4 months ahead of the game. If you guys want some decent testing time, you guys should be nearly done with the pieces and parts manufacturing and begin final assembly soon if you haven't already. Work hard, and you'll get it done.

It doesnt matter how soon you get done, you will always wish you had an extra month!

At least make sure it moves under its own power and can stop before you go to competition.
