Does anyone know if Yoshimura is still offering mufflers at a discount to FSAE teams? I haven't been successful getting a hold of anyone there to answer my questions. Anyone have a contact for this year?

For those of you that have gotten these - what is the inlet size?

Thanks
Tony

Maribor FSAE team is planing to ask akrapovic for a sponsorship (again) somewhere in the next few weeks.

If you guys are interested I could ask at Akrapovic for a discount for FSAE cars. But even if he will not give it I will ask for a pricelist. I think akrapovic could be cheaper here in slovenia than in the US.

I'm just wondering. Are the 325$ the price for the s.s. muffler only or together with all exthaust pipes?

Brett Miller is no longer with Yoshimura, but the deal is still good. I believe we just called thier normal order/tech line and ordered our muffler.

What a ripoff.. they told us the deal was no longer good so we had to buy a stainless one off ebay for what a carbon one would have cost.

I'm sorry that they are not running the promotion anymore. We ordered ours just a few weeks ago and it worked out fine. However Yoshi has been helpful to us in other ways this year and we've been running their mufflers successfully for the last 3 years.

Muzzys gave us a nice discount on a carbon muffler last year. I believe it was either 30% off or 10% above cost. Either way it was about $275 for a carbon can. We passed right at 110 dB on our ZX-6R last year.
