Hey guy, im just wondering if anyone out there has any experience with this material? (machine-ability, thermal expansion etc)
The idea is to run a spool rear axel with an inboard disk and gkn flextures, no top wishbones.
The drive shafts on the wheel side of the flexture is superfinished and DLC coated to make it super smooth so it can run in direct contact with the nylatron and eliminate the bearing and cv totally.

You thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

You want to make plastic uprights?

Yup thats the idea, there be pretty beefy tho, maybe 100mm wide across the bearing face, but the majority of the cornering forces will be transmitted through the drive shaft ala kart style.
