i'm not too familiar with the Bowmanville area, however check mosport.com. There is an accomodations section there where you can find lodging nearby. Some teams are spending the night at the campgrounds as they will be arriving late friday night as well. Otherwise, i'd probably suggest staying at a place along the 401 and making an early drive up to mosport in the morning. (Race starts at 9, drivers meeting and tech at 8 am, registration starts around 7:30 am)
We'll see you guys there.

Here (http://www.etudiants.polymtl.ca/fsae/gallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=album02) are a few pictures of our own car. It was the first time that our 2008 car ran.
I'm afraid we don't have any picture of the competitors.
Thanks to the Toronto team. Great event as usual.

Any word on the Daily Planet coverage?

I haven't heard anything from them as of late. I'll try contacting them this weekend about it, but if you see that they have a 'speed week' special happening then it would most likely be it.
Cheers

Hi teams,
The Daily Planet episode featuring the U of T Shootout will be scheduled to air next Thursday (November 15th 2007) on Discovery Channel Canada. This show airs at 7 pm and 11 pm with repeats the next day at 9 am and noon. If you don't have Discovery Channel, you can catch the episode on their broadband stream at www.discoverychannel.ca (http://www.discoverychannel.ca) (posted the day after it airs).
Thanks again for all the teams for coming out for this year's shootout and making it such a success. Hope you all enjoy the episode and we'll see you guys in Michigan or the shootout in 08.

Fellow Toronto FSAEers,
Apparently you can't watch the Daily Planet on the website if you live in America. Does anyone know of any way to watch the episode??

Those who live in the states and wish to watch the episode online, please send me an email at chrisc.wong@utoronto.ca and I will send you the URL. Same goes with obtaining a copy, send me an email and I will forward it to the show producer.
