Anyone experienced this with the fsae_2012 template?

Hi

My name is Christoffer from the University of Stavanger.
I was wondering if anyone have experienced some problems with the fsae_2012 steering template.

After modifying the template for our car and trying to use the fsae steering template i meet some problems when:

- When I'm taking a steer analysis it works well for a steer input from 0 - 19 mm. When I try to take any input higher than 19 mm, it says:

"The maximum number of iterations 25, has been reached.
The equation with the largest error was model .... .
The variable receiving the largest increment was model. Steering_Modified.jostra_rack_to_rackhousing".

Anyone have any suggestions?

Is this in ADAMS or what? Need some more details.

Maybe double check you aren't getting interference in any of the components at high steer inputs, like upright colliding with A-arm or something like that?

Seems like its not converging to a static solution. Have you changed anything in the template? Have you changed any of the bushings?
