I've been looking around a bit, but I'm having trouble finding two crucial pieces of my electrical system for this year. I'm trying to find some modular relay holders and a fuse panel. Usually, we just use the Bosch style relays with the tab and mount the relay with a screw to a sidepanel on the car and connecting to it with a connector that comes with our Haltech harness, but I don't really like doing that as it doesn't look very professional. We also use a modular 4 position fuse holder, which really isn't that bad, but I'm wondering what other teams out there are using.

We've been using the Hella 4 gang relay and 10 gang fuse blocks. The are a bit pricy but the do their job well and are covered/sealed. I think we've gotten them from ralleylights.com in the past.

I believe we use the same relay block, it can be found at Allied at the link below. The terminals are also on this page and are a simple crimp connector. The other link is for the fuse block that we use, item # AF-RGFB6. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

In the UK, we can buy relay holders that clip together to form a block of however many are needed. and we use panel mounted circuit breakers from ETA rather than fuse holders.

Thanks! Those relay holders at allied were exactly what I was looking for. I've searched high and low for those.

Another good source for gangable relay connectors:

Waytek is also good for most of your other electrical requirements, from connectors, to wire, etc.

Hi Brian, thank you for the referral. I'm one of the owners of Waytek, and former Baja team member.

Coastertrav, I would suggest the Bussmann RTMR unit, which is both a relay and fuse holder in a nice business card size package. You can find them on page 125 of our catalog (http://www.nxtbook.com/nxtbooks/waytek/catalog223/#/0). If you want to order with us, just mention that you're on a Formula SAE team, and we can get you some better pricing, and ignore line minimum for you.

Good luck!

Thanks John, looks like a great product. You'll probably hear from us in the near future. Especially from the exSAE experience.
