Formula Cross

A little while ago I came across an article for a new RMR project called Formula Cross.

The short version is:
A Rally Kit Car/Kart Based on an atv (in this case a Yamamha YFZ450).
The kit will cost $7500 and a used YFZ450 will run $2500 to $5000 (in the Southern USA at least).

Except the 620lbs weight this looks pretty sweet.
They'll start shipping in November so it is too soon to say how they will really turn out;
but this looks like a great post-FSAE series.
Any thoughts?

These look really cool. It's like a dirt version of the Aussie Racing Car series.

To be honest i'm not really sure what would carry over from the quad (except the engine and front suspension components). Good thing it's got a roll cage...
