hello guys, this is aious racing team from india .we have tried to contact torsen company many a times . but they are not responding .we are midway through the construction of our car and we urgently need a reasonably new lsd differential

Pat, Possibly a dumb question, as I am new to suspension, but when tuning rear slip angles with a solid rear axle, can you achieve the same, or close to the same turning power as with double wishbones and a spool? I am just starting to look at our tyre data, and any advice for this setup would be appreciated!
Also, we are running Hoosier 20-6x10's, which appear to be only mildly camber sensitive. This is why I would assume that we can get nearly the response out of the tyres, without having to worry about the laden wheel cambering out.

Absolutely!
A fantastic demonstration was when the University of Queensland car smoked the field in the Dynamic events at FSG 2006.
This car was a fairly standard spaceframe car with A arm and pushrod suspension.
Once one gets their head around the differential slip angles required and how to generate them, these cars work very well.
Not only that, but it's a good way to take some significant mass out of the car and a significant cost saving.
Something well worth investigating.
A word of warning. If you turn up at the comp with a spool, you better have some good reasons why, because the Judges will really grill you!
