Local Import Show Pictures

5ten and myself were displaying the car at a local import show, and although most of the cars there were pretty standard import show 5ten's solicitation did make the car look so much better.

I don't think I've ever seen FSAE Goodyears with signs of heat like that before... are those R065's, or some road racing castoffs? http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Hey Denny,
Those would indeed be R065's, the ones we used in endurance. After the autocross event I noticed some chunking and tread splicing on 3 of our tires. I took them over to Goodyear and after inspection and checking to make sure we mounted them correctly (yes thank you!) they gave us 3 new ones.

We didn't however have time to scrub them in and started the endurance with 3 brand new tires and one nicely scrubbed in tire :-)

You're lucky we didn't get our 24" "spinnaz" installed for the show or else you would have never seen such tires! http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif
