hi , does anyone know anyone who could make us titanium exhaust manifold with the cad model that we provide.

i am looking for someplace in Germany as we will be participating in fsg08 at hockenheim. we want to directly order it there so that we can save on the shipping and customs

Oh boy..

Good luck finding such a place (that will work under FSAE budge/time constraints).

Even if you were to find it and have it made there.. you want to pick it up when you get to Germany for competition?? And not test it at all before hand??

If you did somehow find a place, and they actually made you a manifold, I'd bet a dollar that it wouldn't fit as planned on the vehicle as-built. You might nail it, but chances are against

You would save on shipping and customs.. I guess.. but you'd be paying 10x more for this contraption than you would for just a perfectly functional mild or stainless manifold. Is the loss of say 3 lbs really worth $1000? $1500?

In short: Way too expensive !

I've you really planning to buy a Custom Build Ti Exhaust system you have to in invest a minimum of 3000 - 4000 Euros (4500 - 6000 bucks)...

My opinion: save the money and try to get an "normal" Exhaust before you're leaving to Germany. Testing will decrease more your laptime more than any Exhaust !
