Ask yourself:
-Why are you trying to measure brake line pressure?
-What pressure does it need to measure?
-Where are you going to measure it?
-What is your brake setup (lines, connectors, etc.)?

etc. etc.

Why are you trying to measure brake line pressure?
i need it to check whether the value doesn't exceed max value...also i will find the braking torque

is there any other way which i`am unaware of?Do tell

We just found one that reads 0-1500 psi or so that has the same thread as our brake light switch.

Although I suppose it would also be possible to put a strain gage on a brake line to measure hoop stress. Hmm.... (bear in mind a previous team leader's advice that I am often a great source for terrible ideas http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif )

Search on Digikey. There are about a gazillion pressure sensors out there. The ones that are rebadged and used on automotive data systems are usually MSI products. They have either 1/8" NPT or 1/4" NPT threads, and three different output options to choose from (depending on the input you need for your DAQ).

Honeywell makes and sells many sensors, pressure, hall effect, what ever you need. Many are rebranded as MOTEC if you use them. Check thier website.
