The University of Colorado by far had the coolest looking jackets at competition. I'm looking to get some made for our team and was wondering if anybody remembered what brand their jackets were or if anybody has a suggestion for a jacket that isn't too expensive. Team jackets definetely are a good way to add a professional touch to an entire team.

Our jackets were North Face Summit Series. If I were you, I would buy them in China. That's what one of our team members did.

If they're $25 from China they're probably knock offs.
I have one myself. I thought that I was getting a great deal from a guy that was going to pick it up for me in China when he was there on business. I paid $30 for a North Face jacket (fleece and shell). It looks the same right down to the label. It says Windstopper on the fleece but it's not. The main zippers are left handed which is really weird.
Overall the quality is extremely low.

Anyway, maybe the ones that you guys have are different.

They are knockoffs.. with the funny zipper. The newer ones quality is better than the ones we got in the past.

Looks tight tho.

$25 chinese knockoffs... that's a lesson in reverse engineering for ya.

They may be knockoffs, but are they holding together? Would it be okay to wear it more often then just at competition, or would they only last a cumulative week or so? Those would be pretty sweet to wear to class once in a while...

those guys are just leading you on, they weren't knock offs, fact was, North Face has an office here in Boulder and they sponsored us, but then something was weird with their corporate sponsorship policy so we got free shwag but no moolah. They did throw us a big pig roast party with pinatas and complimentary North Face snap bracelets though. It was awesome. Next year were gonna have Members Only team jackets, Biyaaah!

You're so weird.

The jackets are solid. Great for big pimpin at competition, class, football games, the bars, putting your team captain in a full nelson, etc..
