That depends on the competition that you are attending.

It appears that you are from USC and have entered the FSAE California competition. US teams are expected to purchase their own transponders for the US competitions, although SAE does have some loaners for the international teams. Remember that the transponder MUST be the (red)260 model, not the (orange)160 unit that the Baja teams use.
