Hey guys need some help, I just suck at Google or something.

Anyway, I want to machine a hole for an AN o-ring fitting. Basically, I need to know the specs for the little shoulder before the threads fo the o-ring. Also, i need to know how deep i should go with the threads.

Thanks guys, I looked in the machinists handbook, but didnt find anything myself...

Are you looking for ORB fittings?

Download the Engineering Specs (bottom right corner) from this website, everything you need is in there.

www.Sealum.com (http://www.Sealum.com)

If you have the space, it is recommended to have a minimum of 3/4 thread depth. Especially on larger sizes. The thread depth listed in those specs are from the ORB standards.
