Hi,
We are using a Westgarage Sierra differential for our hybrid car. But we cant include the stub that comes with it as it is too big and bulky. We are planning to either manufacture a stepped shaft with splines on both sides, going into the differential and into the tripod housing of a Maruti 800 half shaft OR respline the output end of a Alto half shaft to match the differential splines as we are using Alto hub and hence it will be easier.
To make things clearer, the Maruti 800 half shaft takes an output shaft from the differential and the Alto half shaft has a shaft going into the differential.
Can someone tell me places for resplining of axles and shafts in India.
