for anyone who has read the paper thoroughly i have a question regarding the equations. For the frictional forces that develop along the axis of the element gear Tf5 and Tf6 they use mu5 and mu6 but never discribe what they are, is this supposed to be mu3 and mu4 because they are never used.

I think that it should just be mu2 in that equation.
The equation for Tf3 and Tf4 should use mu3 and mu4.
Good Luck
I got the pdf version of the paper off of the torsen site at:
http://torsen.com/files/Traction_Control_Article.pdf
Im not sure if it is exactly that same as the html version.
