Hey guys,

another question about the catch tanks

is it ok when the catch can is simultanius the reservoir of the coolant? On our catch can is a vent wich opens at a pressuere of 13000Pa. The hose with inner diameter of 3mm ends under the frame.

Is this with the rules or have we go to another catch tank and from this catch tank to the bottom of the frame with the hose... seems like to be the same??

The normal interpretation, and one I have used for xx years, is that the coolant "catch can" cannot be a pressurized part of the cooling system. It must be at atmospheric. It is there to catch any coolant that leaves the pressurized part of the cooling system and prevent it getting onto the track.

As this question has come up after Formula Student, I have to assume you are entered in FSG. In that case, you need to submit your question to FSG for an official answer.
