I was wondering if anyone knew of any local shifter, kt100, or TaG karting clubs or series in the North/South Carolina area? I'm looking to start so probably alot of track days at first.
I just moved out here from Ca and have no idea what tracks etc. are around here except for roundy round racing (which I do not want to do).
Thanks

I've also wanted to get into karting but most of the tracks around here (Im in TN) are dirt tracks. If your willing to travel there are a few in Ga, although I can't remember the actual locations. I have a friend that does karting in middle Ga. If you need me to, I can ask where they are located.
You can also probably check google and type in something like karting+North Carolina...something along those terms...

I found some info, but it doesn't look too promising.

Also I found some threads on ekartingnews.com and they basically said most of the non circle track stuff was enduro karting/road race karting. I've never seen or had any experience with that kind of karting.
I think Lowe's has a kart track, but I couldn't find any info about track days etc.
