With my team , we meet a serious problem to adapt our engine with a Bosch MS4 Sport ECU about the crankshaft and camshaft synchronization.
In fact, ECU needs a 95.3mm target's diameter (36-2 teeth) for crankshaft, but it's impossible to mount it, because the case is too small to accept it,only a 63mm original target. More than,we had thought of deporting the target except the crankcase but too many constraints forbids it.
About the camshaft synchronization, we had thought to adapt a R6 exhaust camshaft. Theoretically, the "re-manufacturing" was possible, but the ECU imposes the camshaft's tooth walks past the sensor when the cylinder 1 gets on top (PMH).
Have you other solution for these problems ? I am sure that other team use an XJ6/FZ6 engine or a MS4 ECU.
