... what in hell?

Have you estimated the torsion and lateral springrates?

Give us a hint as to what you want to accomplish?

Best,
Drew

I did some modeling in simulink to get you started:

in the future, please note that this forum is for FSAE discussion.

I give B Hise an A+. Not sure that me laughing at that is a sign of too much engineering or too much Coors Light.

I need to compare tests of real tricycle with a generic model build on Matlab.

Well what the hell kind of test, man?

Ummm, I think she needs some more rake. Get her long and low...

Hummmmmm. BAM... I think that perhaps you rushed the design phase and missed a few key elements.

However I have modeled your design for you in Matlab. For your analysis I used the import model feature and selected import from *.jpeg. and clicked the desired file, in this instance your screenshot.

From there select an optimization goal, preferably minimize gayness, and select an output directory for results.

If you have any further problems don't be afraid to ask the paper clip in Microsoft word, very helpful in making important engineering decisions. Please avoid asking such questions on FSAE forums.

I wouldn't worry about that. Just ask someone on a tricycle forum to do it for you.

Richards you forgot the basket for the driver to sit in.

Ergonomics judge -> fail.

not sure if the OP is serious with the last request....

but what software did you use to model that bad-ass "trik-ey" with the carbon wheels?

Y'all had better be nice to him! If he flunks out of engineering because nobody will do his homework assignment for him, he might change his major to business and become your first pointy-haired boss..... http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

That's so attentive of you... http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
I only realized that the pedal box is not in the centre. Poor driver...
