Anyone know what they are? (ie, inner dia and length)

Thanks,

we just got an IGES model for it, although it may be an old version...not sure yet, still converting piece by piece

if it turns out that it's the newest model i can help you

Oh and this would be a 96-00 model if it's the one we want

That is cool. I am actually working on an 01 and 05, but I don't think the header dimensions would change that much. Mostly, I am just looking for a starting place to put into Ricardo.

If you come up with anything, any info would be great.

I can measure ID actually, we have the pipe sitting in the shop. Length might be a bit more difficult to get accurate.

Well, there is a 'low-tech' solution - take a piece of wire, pick 2 reference points for start and end, and follow the length of the pipe and then measure the length of the wire.

argh...it's an older air-cooled model from the generation before

it was actually something done by a solid modelling class back in the mid 90s as a project...too good to be true

And I haven;t had access to the IC engines lab so I haven't been able to take measurements...plus I saw that the pipe is on the engine at the moment.

I can get you the OD and assume a small thickness (it ain't much). However, either way it'll have to wait - SPRING BREAK 06 TREMBLANT!

BTW, I think the old solid model still uses the same mounting pts too so I may be able to find those realy accurately.

OD is fine, anything helps. I can measure the thickness of our header tubes that we have. I imagine they are all about the same thickness.

Thanks,
