After a disappointing day testing the formula car, a little joy riding in the old baja gets interesting... Thank god for 5 point harnesses...

Everyone is OK, and the baja started on the first pull

But we swapped injectors in the formula car and everything got better.... good day, nobody died and the car runs well.

Wow, how'd you guys end up doing that?

Just to add to the mood of flips, have a look at LeTourneau's car rolling down the hill at SDSMT last week: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWrefMlKu7o

And of course there's always CSULA's famous 25' fall... http://www.calstatela.edu/orgs/minibaja/CSULA-CliffDiving.wmv

Well he said the brakes didn't work and the throttle stuck.... but we pulled it out and the brakes worked fine and the throttle wasn't sticky at all which makes me think he stabbed the gas instead of the brake and the front tires slid. Had that tree not been there he would have fallen just like that CSULA fall, but he would have rolled into the fence of a sub station.

One of our team members said it best, at the end of the day, I'd much rather flip the baja car, cause I know I'll be able to drive it away.

Funny thing is, he actually did flip the baja car once and drive away.
