Hi,
Does anyone know where I can find tutorials for ANSYS explicit dynamics that shows how can I do some impact analysis? Our impact attenuator project is stucked at this point.

Thank you.

You should take a look to the following link:
http://www.kxcad.net/ansys/ANS...help/expdyn_tut.html (http://www.kxcad.net/ansys/ANSYS/ansyshelp/expdyn_tut.html)
I don't promise you this will help. In my case it didn't. I have used the drop test module in ANSYS since we perform drop tests in order to get the approval in the impact attenuator but I never could model the foam we use (AIREX C70.75). None of the available material models in ANSYS asked me for the material constants I had

But if you are thinking about performing a drop test and you have a crashbox made of a material that you can model just follow this module because it is pretty easy.
