What kind do you guys use?

We used to have a tub of Fast Orange that turned really rubbery. Before that we had some Borax in an old school dispenser.

Currently we are using a pink liquid soap called..ahem.."My Pleasure". I tried to find a webpage for this stuff but to no avail.

The My Pleasure isn't cutting it these days, so I am thinking about switching to Coco Scrub (http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/cspages/cocoscrub.php) when we get a chance. Used the stuff at Goodyear where I worked this summer and it made GoJo look weak.

I also had a bar of Lava soap, but used it up after about a week.

We just use GoJo, it works well enough. I know I read an article about this last year where they compared a bunch of different types, I think it was in grassroots motorsport but it might have been in SportsCar Magazine.

The manufacturing company where our shop is located gives us solopol...it is the best hand cleaner I've ever used, hands down - CV grease doesn't even challenge it.

We use all Safety Kleen products out at our shop, and have never been happier. We have a product sponsorship with them, and every product they have given us to use, from hand cleaners, parts cleaners and lubricants, to things to keep the shop clean like oil dry and pig mat, have all worked great and we use it plenty.

The stuff they sell on the Snap-On trucks is awesome. Great cleaning ability and has moisturizers. So unlike the orange crap, it won't dry up your hands.

GoJo is the hand soap of choice in our shop. Only stuff it wont clean off is the Mobil 1 grease our baja team packs their CV joints with.

Expensive but worth it.

I once worked with a guy who used brake parts cleaner to wash his hands, and he also washed them every 15 minutes or so. But he had, er, other "issues" as well.

I like Fast Orange, for no other reason than it smells good, is on the front counter, and works well enough for me. For the shop, which has a sink, I prefer hand cleaner with abrasives for their extra scrubbing action. For the trailer or my personal garage (no sink), I like the cream, since it wipes off cleaner without water (doesn't leave all the sandy abrasives behind). I also like to keep some of those heavy duty wipes in the trunk or toolbox in my trunk, those sort of rough looking ones that look like they're made of fiberglass. Those are great after doing roadside repairs or junkyard crawling, and travel well.

We're using Gojo, but the stuff Wurth makes is awesome
